Through all the readings of Charles Hanaal and Og Mandino along with all the exercises and meditation, it has been evident that God is teaching me “Harmony and Unity”. We have been learning about being in harmony with Universe, to me it’s God. In other words, also being in Unity with God.
From my Christian walk, I have been striving to live for God and according to Biblical teachings. Through MKEMMA, so many of the biblical truths that I am being reminded and I am learning to apply them deeply within me.
In Galatians 5: 16- 18, “16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.”
When I look at these verses, I am reminded of some of the readings and principles we’ve been learning, we are not to live by our old blueprints (flesh) any more but live by the new blueprints (the Spirit). In our time of “Sit’, we are practicing and training our mind to focus on what the Spirit is saying and guiding us. We live by the truth (new blueprints).
Over last 3 years, I have been wrestling with the following passages, Matthew 11: 28-30, 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
It’s been a long process but I have learned to come to Jesus who is so gentle and humble in His heart that He has been very patiently brought me to the place of peace and rest in my soul. I don’t have to try to impress anyone or feel responsible or burdened to take care of everyone around me but to rest in Him and learn from Him. You see, when I take His yoke upon me and learn from Him, this means that I stay with Him, watch Him, listen to Him and follow Him who sees everything, who is perfect and who knows all things (Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent).
Why would I try to go ahead of Him and trying to do things on my own when I can watch Him and can move as He directs me. Also as I stay with Him and listen to Him, I gain His wisdom and His truth whether it is about me or others. The truth that holds in my heart nowadays is that “I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, harmonious, happy, calm, peaceful, confident, and loving” because I can be all of these as long as I remain in Him and He is in me (John 15: 5, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing”).
I can bear much fruit, the fruit of the Spirit, Galatians 5: 22-23, “22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law”. Yes, I can manifest these qualities and characters not by my own power but when I am in harmony and in unity with Him who is in me. He can shine these qualities through me. The method is to stay in tune with Him so closely that I am one with Him so He can manifest His truth and His character through me.
Franklin’s makeover qualities are exactly these qualities and characters that we are trying to live out in our lives.
Like Hanaal says, this is the vibration he is talking about, and also polarity that is being created in this relationship. I am loving this intimate relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ who is the perfecter of my faith.
Hebrews 12:1-3, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”
